Sr. C# Developer (C# C Sharp .net)

Business Unit - IT/Software Development

• The incumbent will be programming in C# .net and enhancing / upgrading our customer care applications.

The incumbent designs advanced systems by researching and evaluating complex business systems to develop detailed understanding of user needs. Designs, implements, analyzes, and modifies systems for various applications. Works with users to define system requirements and creates resolution. Regularly leads small to medium size projects and provides guidance to staff members.
Works as a team member on large, highly complex technical/programming projects under minimal direction of senior staff and management.
Regularly leads small to medium size projects, performs project management activities such as planning, sizing, configuration and scheduling activities. Develops solutions and makes decisions that impact projects and staff members.
Performs analysis, writes program specifications and develops designs for medium to large size projects OR performs analysis, resolves problems and monitors to proactively prevent problems from occurring.
Evaluates options for meeting user needs, and ensures that system requirements are identified, prioritized and incorporated in an effective, efficient manner.
Troubleshoots complex development and production application problems and provides technical and production support on an on-call basis.
Performs technical evaluation of products.
• Qualifications

4+ years of C# .Net, Winforms
Solid leadership skils
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems and at least 5 years of information systems experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
In depth knowledge of information systems concepts
Strong knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures
Experience using formal development processes and/or methodologies
Full project life cycle experience
Project management skills and ability to plan and meet milestones
Analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements moderately complex software applications for Windows XP Operating System
Ability to design and code from specifications
Prepares detailed specifications
Operational and Support needs
Demonstrated decision-making and leadership abilities
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt and learn new development processes and/or methodologies
